Kidney Stones, concentrated dietary minerals in urine form the stones/ calculus in kidney / renal depending on the location these are termed as nephrolithiasis when in kidney, ureterolithiasis in ureter, cystolithiasis in bladder.

The renal calculus can be associated with pain,spasm,pain while urinating,frequent urination , urine obstruction, pus in urine , fever etc.

Ashmari is the disease conditions described in ayurveda for various types of stones & are five types and can be treated with the help of ayurveda medicines . We have treated renal calculus successfully upto the size of 16mm at our centre Vedanta Ayurveda . These are formed with the condition when Asthi dhatu agni become weak & by enhancing the functioning of asthi dhatu the tendency of stone formation is treated.
